Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Adult community care law is the legal framework that governs the provision of social care services and support for adults with care and support needs, including elderly and disabled individuals.

The Care Act 2014

changed the landscape of adult community care in England and placed obligations upon the local authority to assess, provide care and support for those assessed as eligible for care and support needs and methodology to charge for the care and support. There are continuous changes in the law which means that the landscape of adult social care law is continually changing. With the local authorities budgets being cut, it is even more important for vulnerable adults and their families have legal representation to ensure their rights are defended in the right way.
